Darth_Velrogh
Deep in the night a soul as awaken Whatever he did he was forever forsaken His thoughts were dark And so was his heart He corrupted the light That had been forever so bright Plunging life in a eternal night And so, grew his might He gathered up the wretched demons That had been locked away for Eons With them he swept the land Destroying everything that would stand The green fields are dead Covered in the blood that had been shed There is no hope for them to be saved And so they were forever enslaved. But one day another soul was born And looked at this evil work with scorn He fought the Dark Lord for many days And seemed to be winning in many ways He eventually did But killing Him he forbid And so He was encaged Making Him nothing but enraged. Is hate grew But there was nothing he could do In the land life and light had returned And His evil plan burned But one day He will be freed And will end His evil deed For He cannot be killed Of Darkness and Hate he is filled No one will survive…
JediMaster12
Very powerful. You speak of the consumption by hate and darkness. The descriptions were accurate and image stirring. A well written poem. If you want, I invite you to write any of your poetry in the "Blessings of the Written Word" thread. Other poets have written there as well and it is an opportunity to see what other people think.
