helly Posted June 2, 2001 Posted June 2, 2001 then how come you can die about a million times in indiana jones and the fate of atlantis?? when i first played that (YEARS ago) i thought "oh, you can't die so i'll be alright" and then i got beaten up or something. i was so annoyed. *sighs* anyway...

The difference with the Indiana Jones games is that you could die while fighting, as opposed to the other games that you could die in like FT or LCR, which gave you another chance. Sorry, but you can die from fighting and other things in Indiana Jones. That's just the way it is. However, the difference between IJ and other non-LEC adventure games is that you don't die for stupid reasons. ------------------

You might be thinking of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (which sucks). There have only been two Indiana Jones action games released for the PC, one was the Infernal Machine, the other was the action version of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Normally, those deaths were just attempts to poke fun at Sierra or make another joke for die-hard fans. Remember in SMI when you fall off the cliff for being too close, that was a poke at Sierra...ah, those were good times. Oh, and Magnus, I really like SQ:6, really off-beat humor in there.
