So the new NIN album has been leaked on the net. They have been doing a super heavy viral marketing scheme to promote this album. They have posted the whole album for listening here. The link is in the upper, right hand corner. You have to enter an email and agree to the terms. I thought I would share because it sounds great. Though I wonder if they did this because the cd was leaked or because they leaked it.

Reznor basically said that this and the 2nd part of the album are the soundtrack for a movie that hasn't been made yet.

I've been anticipating this album for a while now. I had a ton of fun when I saw him on his With Teeth tour.

 

This album may be my favorite NIN album. It sounds like an album that may take time to grow on you when you read about it on paper. Despite that, I've almost immediately enjoyed every song off this album.

It releases on my birthday, so I know one present I'm getting.

Yep, I'm very interested, and probably will be getting it. AFAIK, NiN had intentionally "leaked" at least a few songs by putting USB sticks in bathrooms at their concerts, so even many of the original leaked versions of the album were technically legit (the record company had signed off on it).
