xmovingpicturesx
I know this is for wallpapers and junk, but does anyone know of a link for icon packs? Specifically Vista-esque icons for XP? Can I install icon packs right from the control panel? For some reason Windows Blinds (and programs like it) doesn't work for me. Mod note: Split post from Wallpaper thread into its own thread. ~M
Det. Bart Lasiter
WindowBlinds is for themes, IconPackager is for icons. You can get WindowBlinds themes and IconPackager themes from http://www.wincustomize.com/
xmovingpicturesx
Is it free? I really don't feel like paying for skins and themes. EDIT: I'm an idiot, why don't I just check? Yup, useless reply.
xmovingpicturesx
Well, basically what I did was download WindowsBlinds and one of the skins. After I installed WindowsBlinds I rebooted my PC, when it came back on I clicked "Add Skin" from within WindowsBlinds. I selected my .wba (or whatever the filetype was) then clicked "Apply My Changes." Only problem is the site says that unless I register I can't download anymore. Every time I try to reg it brings up an error. Are there any other sites? EDIT: Also, I'm not a fan of the whole "buy it after 60 days" idea. Any "free" free alternatives? Negative Sun
Longhorn (Vista) Icon Pack Vista G Icon Pack, for Folders only... Look around on the site a bit more if you want, there's Vista themes for XP as well (which includes the icons, saves you from having to install them separately), and it's all free! xmovingpicturesx
I did a Google search for Visual Styles, found some pretty good sites. TweakXP has three links to search, all pretty good. Then there's ThemeXP and InterfaceLIFT. All really good sites, and you don't have to download StyleXP or WindowsBlinds to install their themes.
