Renegade Angel
I have a bit of a problem here. My dad can't remember the password to the damned Zone Alarm program and every time we try to delete or uninstall it, it gives us an Access Denied error because the password needs entered. Any ideas? We've already tried safe mode and we still get error. We've also tried Windows Commands and they won't work either. Any help would be appreciated. Negative Sun
Delete the actual folder in Program Files? Or am I just stating the obvious you've already tried?
Boba Rhett
It's not the best idea to just go deleting program folders. Why are you wanting to uninstall ZoneAlarm, anyways? You could probably just delete the program folder if you also dug into the registry (making a back up of it first!) and removed everything relating to ZA in it such as everything here: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Zone Labs" and here: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ZAMailSafe. I think those are what it still uses. You'll have to look and see what ZA generates in the registry nowadays.
Renegade Angel
I figured it out. I went to the Internet Logs, where the Zone Alarm logs were and deleted them. I guess the password must've been there, because the password is gone. Woot.
