Comp. Restarts after the frist cutscene

Ok. I've tried my hardes to get this game to work, but I just can't do it for the life of me.

I installed the game, got a bunk and all that good stuff.

I watched the first cutscene when Raz gets to camp, but after you wake up, and the weird over-excited kids run by and say "You don't want to be late for basic braining. It's the best, etc."

 

Some time between when he steps out of the cabin, and when the cut scene is over my computer restarts, all by itself.

 

I downloaded the patch, restarted my computer, turned off all the cool graphics, and downloaded the new drivers for my Nvidia card.

It still restarts.

 

When I comes back on it says "Windows has suffered from a fatal error."

Can anyone help me out?

Hmmmm. Check the event viewer and see if it specifies what caused the crash. If it blue screens, check the error message (ie: DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is well, a driver issue) as well as what other processes/programs were running. Perhaps a sound driver update? If all else fails, DoubleFine should be able to help.

Well. I'm not sure why it worked, but now it does.
