jedispy
Did anyone else with the PC version have strange frame rate issues on Dantooine? It wasn't just frame rate issues, but also really bad control problems. My computer is a little old by today's standard, but it's still decent enough where I shouldn't be having problems. Pentium 4, 3GHZ NVidia GeForce 128MB 512 MB RAM I tried to run the update, but it didn't seem to help much. It doesn't matter a whole lot since I was able to make due and get off Dantooine
ChAiNz.2da
Yup http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=144109 Also, people should know that the Step 2 fix will work with nVidia cards as well (at least a high success rate.. not 100% with everyone)... Dug around the files and still to this day can't find the "reason" why it happens on Dantooine.. but whatever it is, I managed to skip it the first few runs but got hit hard during some of my later playthroughs. Odd thing is, none of my systems specs had changed in that time
jedispy
My bad for not checking for other answers. yeah Dantooine got really annoying. I would have to transit back to the Ebon Hawk dozens of times. The frame rate was always fine any place where sunlight didn't shine. I determined that it was from the lighting effect from the sunlight.
