Help with Monkey Island new style

Hi guys,

can somebody help me to make Monkey Island remake, thats mean old style with new hires graphic? I have already made 25 backgrounds, I need somebody for 3D characters, and programmer.... If you dont believe it, look at this: http://www.3dspacek.webz.cz/3dgallery.html

So, probably nobody is so skillful to make a remake..... so I must put the question: Where are all that fans? I spoke to some of them and They told me: You should contact us 7 years ago, we are busy now.

Folks, this way We will never make it.

Hi, mate. I'm a fan and there are many others, no doubt. This forum is more or less down, because there hasn't been a Monkey Island game for quite some time. There could be other forums, but this is considered to be one of the more popular ones, and, well, you can see.

 

I like your work and it definitely looks promising. You might want to take a look at some other places, especially game design-related communities for enlistment. General design communities, like DeviantART could be okay, too.

 

I know a bit of image editing and 3D design myself, but it's nothing big and definitely not upto your standards.

You have to remember, there'll be a few fans who simply won't want to make it and from those that do, only a small amount will be dedicated enough to actually go through with it, and they'll be hard to find.

 

Frankly, there are hardly any people here as it is, if you're serious about this I'd suggest going to specialist places instead of fansites.

Ok guys, thank you for those advices, but I will try to make it. I have found programmer, who is from my country, but I dont have character artist, anyway, I will do it by myself, just for try a few scenes and we will see... If you know anybody who would like to make characters, let me know....thx

Wow...that looks impressive. I wouldn't have a clue how to do anything like that, though I'd love to know how. Keep us up to date with how it's going, ok?

As long as the characters and animations will look better than ESCAPE FROM MONKEY ISLAND, I'll be a little, happy boy.

Of course.,...we have sketches done, some of 3D models, looks great as backgrounds. I dont use 3D engines and 3D camera. Typical 2D style.
