Sir Vougalot
I've decided that it's time to back up all my files and wipe my hard drive clean. As such, I'll need to save all of my KOTOR mods and reinstall them once the games are reinstalled. My question is: can I simply just copy the contents of my override folder and re-paste them into the folder once the game is reinstalled, instead of reinstalling each mod manually? It should save things such as all of the .2da files in their latest forms, shouldn't it? What about the self-installed mods that used the KOTOR 2 Patcher? Will they automatically work properly if I simply copy my entire override folder and re-paste it once the game is reinstalled, or will they need to be reinstalled again? Master Zionosis
Yes, you can do that, but make sure that if you have used any .mod files that are in the modules folder you'll have to backup them as well.
glovemaster
if you also backup the dialog.tlk file aswell as any aditional modules in the \modules folder then i am pretty sure that your mods will be restore-able
T7nowhere
In addition to the two above posts, some mods also use Sound files so be sure to back those up also, don't back up the whole folder, just find out which mods included new sound files and back up those files or reinstall those mods.
