So i ask you (well the guitarplayaz here): What is a good guitar. I want a pretty basic one, not too expensive, but still sounding good. I've seen a fender (used) for 100 bucks. Guybrush122 Posted August 23, 2001 Share Posted August 23, 2001 i do, a feder strat is a good starting guitar. if you are gonna get a strat get one with a double pickup (just ask the clerk, he'll know what youre talking aobut) if not a fender, try an Ibanez (thats what i have) Ibanezes usually come with a double pickup and a rosewood finger board. Now, you can also get the 'Jump Pack: Ibanez' pack and it comes with a nice Ibanez, an amp, picks, an auto tuner, a video, and a freakin whammie bar.
