Does anyone here play Tremulous?

For about a year I have been playing this free game, Tremulous. The base of it is, you build a base with your team-mates and then attack.

 

For example, I would be the aliens, I would help build a better base (the stock bases are easy to defeat) andafter building a base, I would attack.

(Oh, yeah, it uses the Quake 3 engine but improves it fairly well...)

I haven't heard of it but sounds and looks fun. I'll try it out once I have a chance.

is it like age of empire, halo wars, or empire at war? what is the URL?

Nothing like either of em'. It's not an RTS, it's a first person shooter.

It's fairly easy to install. No patches or mods you need to download, although SOME servers do have custom maps.

Yeah, I played it. It's a damn fine game to play online and I've had good memories of it. I was quite a noob at it, though. Still, I recommend anybody bored enough to try it out.
