Natty
BEER MATHEMATICS This is pretty neat how it works out. This is amazing beer math!!!!!!! 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have a beer (try for more than once but less than 10; if your answer is zero, substitute your favourite drink/treat) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold) 3. Add 5. (for Friday Night) 4. Multiply it by 50 (being a bit stupid) 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1751.... If you haven't, add 1750 .......... 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. (if you remember) You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number (I.e., how many times you want to have a beer each week). The next two numbers are your age. ------------------

Do the same but instead of the number of beers replace it with the number of people living at your home (but it has to be less than 10!) Or your cat/dog/birds age (but still less than 10) So, who of you can tell us how it mathematicaly (is there any such word?) works? I can do it but this is a nice problem for you now when the school has started. ------------------ and Grannen

Outside those parameters, and it fails It works if you multiply with 20 instead of 2. (Unless you are 1000 years old, or more.) The first digit is still the number of beers and the last three digits is your age. ------------------ and Grannen [This message has been edited by Grannen (edited September 01, 2001).]
