Ich heisse [name], Wie heisse du?

I think that means:

I am called [name]. What are you called?

But it is perhaps more common with

"Was heisst Du?" instead of "Was ist Ihre Name?" between friends.

And I think it should be "Was heisst du?" Wie=How like in Wie viel - How much.

But german is not my best language! smile.gif
