Xwing vs. TIE Fighter BoP problem

I don't know if this should be here, but anyways, after several attempts on the mission: Destroy Rebel Starship Factory near Nortu, it always ends the same: "Mission failed, M/Strc Peragrin destroyed"

 

What the heck is wrong? What to do with the bloody ship?

After it exits hyperspace I inspect it and leaves it for it self.

But during the fight, TIE/As from Talon squadron i think, makes pot shots at the Peragrin with space bombs.

 

Arn't the supposed to destroy it? If not, why are they shoting at it?

 

 

Any tips would be great!

Alright, never mind that problem now, I have completed the mission now.

But now there is an other problem.

 

Both the Rebel and Imperial campagin is suposed to have 15 missions each right?

 

I have only played 5 levels in the imperial, and I'm at the last mission!

 

If i remember correct, the first mission i did in the IMP campagin was to defend the INT Compellor, taking reprairs at a repair yard.

 

And strangly enough, i have all the cutscenes for the Empire ( the intro, the one with the Imperials destroying the smuggler base, the one with the Imperials capturing Rebel transports and the last one when the Imperials destroy the rebel shipyard) although I never had completed those missions.

 

 

Oh, and last thing is that the game crasches when the final cutscene is over and the Campagin debrief shows up and i press next.

I tested making a new Pilot profile and start an Imperial Campagin.

Now i could play the first mission.

Are the battles either "Rebel Operation: Quick Strike" or "Imperial Fleet Operation: Clean Sweep"? If so, those are the campaigns that came with XvT, not the later BoP. It's been a while since I played, so I'm not really sure how to get into the BoP campaigns. You may need the BoP CD in your optical drive in order to access them, though. I'll edit later when I know for sure.

Playing BoP requires the original XvT CD in the drive. Occasionally it will ask you to insert the BoP CD for verification purposes (very annoying), but will ask you to put the XvT CD back in before you can play any missions.

[VPR]

Sound like you may have a corrupt .lst file. Open the mission.lst and imperial.lst files at the location below where XvT is installed with notepad or wordpad.

Go to this section marked as:

.... and then copy and paste this code below over the section, copying over what's already there so that now it should like this:

Do this for both .lst files, leave the rebel.lst alone.

 

Restart the Imperial campaign and hopefully you should start at the first mission (Take Prisoners Near Blair Cluster).
