Natty
We should be lucky that we can at least choose who we love and when we wanna get married, in some middle eastern countries (and I hope I don't come across as sounding racist- I apologize to anyone who may take offence) they still believe in arranged marriages. I know an indian who said his grandparents had an arranged marriage when they were both 8yo. The girl next door to my grandma is being forced into an arranged marriage with her cousin, which she doesn't wanna marry (she was born in Australia, but her parents came from Lebanon- I guess they still have the Lebanese thinking of living) and that's just an example of what some countries do to their children. At least us as Americans, Australians and English (to name a few) can at least say who we wanna marry and when. Even here in Australia a few years ago, a greeek girl was murdered by her own father, only because she didn't wanna have an arranged marriage with some guy she'd never met (her father had promised his daughter to some guy) and she was dating an Australian guy (well he wasn't greek) and they were engaged, so the father killed his own daughter. You can be in love at 13 or 14, but in the case of Romeo and Juliet, they'd known each other 5mins, how the hell do you know after such a short time that's the person you wanna spend the rest of your life with? There is no right or wrong answer to what people believe and what people think, it's their life, let them live it how they want OK, I've babbled long enough ------------------ Natty Is Feeling Very At This Present Time (Note Subject To Change Without Warning!) Natty
Griswold? I don't think there is much you can do- I mean if you see each other everyday, without knowing all the details, she could be very clingy or possesive. It's up to you, but I think in most cases, when you start going out with someone new, you wanna spend all your time with them, and neglect your friends, I went through it when I first went out with my bf, my best friend went through it, and 2 of my friends also went through it. It wasn't until my friends told me I was neglecting them, at least I'm lucky, my bf realizes I need to spend quality time with my friends and I realized what I was doing. To me, friends will always be there for me, but a boyfriend will come and go (or in your case a girlfriend) and as hard as it may sound, sometimes we're forced to choose between which is more important, a bf or gf, or our friends. I wish I could tell you what to do Griswold, unfortunatly I can't it's my opinion, you gotta work out what you wanna do for yourself ------------------ Natty Is Feeling Very At This Present Time (Note Subject To Change Without Warning!) Natty
Feral sweety, that's what I mean, everyone is different It's not a bad thing, trust me. Ahhhh memories, I remember the guy I liked in grade6, I desperatly loved him, and I remember when I beat him in an arm wrestle with my right hand (I'm left handed) and I remember dancing with him at our graduation party *sniffles* I was so devestated when we went to different highschools, it took me a year to get over him ------------------ Natty Is Feeling Very At This Present Time (Note Subject To Change Without Warning!) Guybrush122
Originally posted by brief: It was puppy love. They just never had enough time to realize it. They knew nothing about each other--the only thing they knew were what each other looked like, and their names. If the two had lived on without the miscommunications between them, chances are that things would not have ended happily for them, anyway. au contraire! it was not puppy love. havent you ever heard of love at first sight? they met at a dance and romeo was doing some serious flirting and he follows her back (they are not in love yet mind you) so they make love as they know their love is forbidon and they grew so attatched, so in love that they would do anything for each other. shakespear was telling a tale of love, not lust and not being 'naughty' and having a forbiddon affair. i think it was shakespeares intention that they were truely suppose to be in love. ------------------ RIP Bradley ------------- Ahh the sound of sensi! Guybrush122
now, back to the love aspect Griswald: Natty is right, its up to you to decide if you truely love her or if you think its just teenage love. And now i'm the one needing advice. and i think i know what the answer is going to be but i just need to hear (read) the words. I really really like this girl. Now she has a rather 'flirtatious' attitude and therefore is a little 'open' to people in general. so when i flirt with her and get another flirt back im not quite sure if im getting her personality responding or if she is really into me. im confustered. help. ------------------ RIP Bradley ------------- Ahh the sound of sensi! Natty
I personally don't believe in love at first sight, it sounds more like you're in love with the persons looks without getting to know the personality, but hell that's just my opinion, and maybe that's what Brief meant by it being puppy love. As much as I love Romeo and Juliet, I don't think it was the most tragic love story ever, Titanic was more tragic, at least they knew each other for 2days JK ignore the silly hyperactive Australian girl Guybrush? Why don't you sus out the girl's friends? I mean surely they'll know whether she's got her eye on you, and if they don't say anything, just tell her you like her, what have you got to lose. There's nuffin wrong with flirtin buddy I do it all the time, it's who I am, and at least my bf knows that flirting is just part of who I am I even joke about having sex with my friends all the time ------------------ Natty Is Feeling Very At This Present Time (Note Subject To Change Without Warning!)
