Revan_Pwn_Malak
I know DarthJebus05 and Seamhainn did a restoration (and I LOVE it) but it's more of an area to explore than anything else. I was wondering if anyone has or is in the process of doing a full restoration where the third level actually plays a role in infiltrating the Black Vulkars. If there isn't I might make this my summer project. I have a ton of ideas for a story and how to utilize this new area. PS: Not sure if this is should go in Mod Requests. If it belongs there I apologize for putting it here.
Shem
It's sounds like a mod request and should have been in the mod request area, specifically here: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=167699
DarthJebus05
Actually, Seamhainn's and my version is actually a complete version. It just makes the quest line for it optional.

Hmmm maybe I have an older version? In the version I was playing all that was in there were the enemies, empty lockers, and a few quest items that I didn't seem to find anywhere to use (except the thing you use to make the temperature rise). Is there a newer version? If not I was thinking about maybe expanding on your guys mod (of course with your permission) and changing how you go though the base. No, that was the final restoration version. I'm sure if you asked Jebus and Seamhainn, they would let you add some more things to the mod, assuming that they are not giving exclusive rights to K1RP. Seamhainn
The restoration is essentially done. Anything else would be... erm, modding. And you have my permission to do with it whatever you want.

DarthJebus05
Fine with me, but on one condition: Credit Seamhainn and me for the original restoration.
Revan_Pwn_Malak
Of course! You guys did the main restoration I'm just planning on adding on. THANK YOU BOTH! I suppose I'll make a W.I.P topic once I get out of school. I do have a question about what you two did. When you go to the restored level of the base you collect Mechanic IDs. These were originally meant to get you into the swoop garage of the base yes? In your restoration are these IDs used for anything because I couldn't seem to find a use for them anywhere? Seamhainn
Those may or may not have been the intention of the developers for the IDs. I suggest that you make a playthrough of the level (but be sure to use the latest version!) and see what DJ and I did with it. Actually I consider it complete as it stands, though, as DJ mentioned, it is mainly a distraction from the main path of the game then a side quest. The developers surely had something in mind with that level, but did not finish those ideas, of course. Otherwise the level would not have been cut :-) . Me and DJ wanted to make a restoration of that level without any repurcussions on other levels and such (at least that was my intention). Thus it is pretty selfcontaining. If you have any questions, just ask!

I haven't done any modding in like a year (since last summer) so I've forgotten so much. Lol. I'm fairly sure I can get back into the rhythm of things quickly. I've been using some tutorials just to jump start my memories.
Seamhainn
To be totally honest I did have some ideas with the level, but never found the time to work on them. Some thoughts were: - a third way to get the ID, - freeing some prisoners/slaves (there are sooo many empty rooms here... ), - some computer hacking which shuts down the turrets in the third/second level (however you count the levels :-) ), - ... So I am very interested in what you'll come up with! Take care
Robespierre
Because some people commented (the Filefront review, I believe) that the whole level "slowed" the base down, I thought that this level could be used as the first level, where you enter from the sewers. And then you then went down onto the next two existing levels. But that's just my opinion. I'll download it regardless .
Seamhainn
Because some people commented (the Filefront review, I believe) that the whole level "slowed" the base down... Well, one can't satisfy everybody, right :-) ? Aint that the truth. -RH
Tooplex
I would love for the black vulker base to have a full part as a giant base, having it so that the 3rd level actually had a part in all this would be brilliant. Is this still going on or not?
