harIII
I would like to construct a crystal that gives you a blade extruding in both direction exactly like a Double-Bladed Lightsaber but it is a single handed hilt. I would like to see a character weild a lightsaber with one hand, the saber has to blades coming from both ends, and the character and hold two of these lightsabers at the same time. How would I do this?
Ali1392
well you make a new model go into the files set it to single handed for the double bladed sabres i dont know how to do this but you might know how to
Sithspecter
Extract the double saber into your override, and give it the same name as the single one.
Xalard
sithspecter, I think that'll only replace standard saber with double-bladed saber. If you want double-bladed saber to be held in one hand, just open it's .uti file and change base item to 'lightsaber' (assuming you use kotor tool). Sithspecter
Xalard, this will allow the player to have a double bladed lightsaber in one hand. It's essentially a new model, but with minimal modelling.
DarthNandis
If you change the BaseItem in KT, it will read an w_lghtsbr_XXX.mdl, not a w_dblsbr_XXX.mdl. You'll need to do what Sithspecter sayed.
Sithspecter
Or what you can do is just make/change the baseitems.2da single lightsaber column to the same model as the double.
harIII
Thanks, I'll try and work with, but I'm busy for the next few days so don't get agitated if I don't respond on what happens for next couple of days.
