katanamaru Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I've been talking with Maxstate and he told me for every bug he and DarthDie found 3 more would pop up. So as it stands 1.3 won't be made available as it is. Doesn't seem likely that the team will come back to it realistically either.
silveera Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Thanks katanamaru... Well... guess we'll stay with the 1.2 until someone launch anyone better
Zweistein000 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 so how far are you from making this release ready?
-=*Raz0r*=- Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 It was abandoned quite a while back. The team started a new project on another engine, but I haven't heard of any activity regarding that for moooonths.
Zweistein000 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 then just release what you did by now, so we can play with it.
-=*Raz0r*=- Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I don't know who has the 1.3 source. DarthDie might, but he hasn't been around.
katanamaru Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Razorace (not Raz0r) had a repository(?) set up that had the code on one of his computers. He may still have it.
jacklul Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I might have still 1.3 code, I'm not sure if it works but... size is bigger than 1.2's, packed 267MB. oh wait, unpacking.... found 'jke' folder in it + #define CURRENT_OJPENHANCED_CLIENTVERSION "Jedi Knight Enhanced 1.0" raz0r go online
Zweistein000 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 cool. If this project is done then I'm looking forward to the changer 1.3 brings.
-=*Raz0r*=- Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Online = Xfire? Won't be able to for > 1 week Not sure how we'll merge this with the current SVN =p maybe RA has a trick up his sleeve.
razorace Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 I think they would but the main issue with OJP 1.2/1.3 was stability. It wasn't in a condition where they could have released it.
