MichiK
Hi, I never played thru TSL all the way, and I want to do that now. I was waiting and waiting for the Restoration project, but I guess I will go ahead and play without it. From what i can see there are just a ton of mods out there (I was looking at the FilePlanet site), and I would like to use as many as possible while still havinga coherent experience. I was wondering if anyone had already compiled a list of the best mods out there that go together. I am primarily looking for content - either fixed/modified or restoring cut content, and if very well done, wholly new content. What I definitely do not want are super-powered weapons or cheats. If anything, my memories of TSL were that it was too easy. So, a recommended list of mods would be really appreciated. Thanks, Michi
Ztalker
Well, for me I always use 2 or 3 Mods that give the game a better feel. -Ultimate Saber Mod (various modders): http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Ultimate_Saber_Mod;73530 Inserts an unbeliebable amount of new lightsabers (hilts) into the game and Jedi training sequences and Lightsaber creation sequences for all your party members. It also gives the party members their own 'special' crystals and saber hilts. For example, Kreia's saber is hidden in a walking stick (the Yoda way) since she obviously wasn't allowed to keep her saber after her exile. It realy improves the gameplay! All Sith Lords have their own saber as well! -Prime's Movie robes and armor: http://warpedproductions.echonetwork.net/movierobestsl.html Although I dislike movie stuff in game that takes place 4000 years before it, I just ignore the names of the robes. They are textured extremely well and just increase the possibilities of creating your own Jedi. With those sabers I mentioned above, this mod rocks even more -Shem's Feat progression: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Feat_Progression_for_TSL;76583 Rocks. I do use it with a hardcore difficulty mod though. It's just very cool to see that whole tree of feats filled early on. It makes you feel like the 'Uber veteran Jedi' you're supposed to be! Anyways, this is my way of playing Kotor 2...or at least, on my last playthrough. I'm now patiently waiting for the second BoS mod (for Kotor 1) and the Restoration project for Kotor 2 before I start playing again
MichiK
Ok, but what about content like: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II/Mods/Added_Content;10255 http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II/Mods/Modified_Content;10430 http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II/Mods/Restored_Content;9830
Darth InSidious
Probably the best thing to do is to read the review and comments, and try the mod and find out. If you have any problems, PM or email the author, or leave a comment yourself.
Exile007
Ok, but what about content like: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II/Mods/Added_Content;10255 http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II/Mods/Modified_Content;10430 http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/files/Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II/Mods/Restored_Content;9830 Don't forget to check the modules section. It has tons of fun content, like Azgath N'Dul's Tomb, the HK factory re-made, the Combat Simulation arena, etc.

MichiK
Hi, After scouring the forums and the various file hosting sites, i came up with the following list of mods: 90SK's Super Content Mod Final Touch Ultimate Saber Mod HarcoreMod-TSL Achilles Game Balance Mod.zip High Level Force Powers V2 Improved AI (with Hi Level Force Powers option) Tomb of Azgath N'Dul v2.0 Ebon Hawk Labstation v1.0 by Darth InSidious exilepack.zip prolog_peragus_harbinger_issues.rar hkfactory_reconstructed Coruscant - Jedi Temple M4-78 addon Mod ultimatesoundmod.zip The problem is, I am sure, just by looking at the files these want to play with, that some of these are likely top conflict, and would really appreciate any experience you might have in terms of which of these definitely do NOT go together, which definitely DO go to together, and order to install. My highest priority ones I want are the game balance ones: Ultimate Saber Mod HarcoreMod-TSL Achilles Game Balance Mod.zip High Level Force Powers Improved AI (with Hi Level Force Powers option) But I see problems there as well... As I said, any experienced help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Michi

If there are conflicts between any of the non-patcher ones, let us know and we might be able to give you more specific instructions. Any that use stoffe's patcher should be fine. Just hold off on them until later. _EW_
MichiK
Most use the installer... but can the installer resolve conflicts in the code files (.ncs / .nss) or just the 2DAs and dialog.tlk ??
