Imperial Guard: closet profession?

Hi all.

 

I am starting out on this game, and I am interested in playing a character that is as near as possible to an imperial guard.

 

i.e running around with force weapons/vibro weapons and getting killed by jedis.

 

Which profession best emulates them?

 

Also, what kind of equipment (armour and weapons) should I be looking for (sources are quite sketchy on what armour they wear)? More importantly will said equipment be impractical when I am at the end game (level 90)?

There isnt really any armour that matches it, maybe prehaps try finding a mod for it?

yeah umm imperial crusader armor helmet plus a red robe/dress is the closest you'll get.
