Admiral Buttercrust
Recently I had Kotor uninstalled as a prank by my buddy, and now that i'm reinstalling it, as soon as it gets to swpc_tex_tpb.erf it freezes, then proceeds to tell me after five minutes that it's not working, then closes. What should I do?
Boba Rhett
Well, firstly, kick your buddies ass. Can you skip it then manually install it from the disc? Do you have a no cd crack installed?
Inyri
You might want to try copying the contents from each of the four discs onto your computer, then installing it with those folders as replacements for the discs. This was a recommendation from LucasArts official support for issues with TSL and might work for you. However if that file is corrupted on your disc you'll be SOL. Follow Rhett's advice by punching your friend in the nose, and never leave your computer unattended around others.
Boba Rhett
Doing a reaaaaaaaaally slow duplication burn of a disc has helped me pull files off of damaged discs in the past. That may be worth a shot if you can't directly pull it off.
assassing3
try installing it somewhere out of program files if something isnt working for me i make a new folder on the desktop and tell the cd to install there that normally solves the problem for me
