omn3s
So really weird problem...game runs great in 1600x1200 resolution, even with all the graphic settings cranked up, but on any other resolution at any refresh rate it's unplayably choppy. My monitor doesn't support 1600x1200 or I'd keep it at that resolution. My hardware more than meets the specs, I've installed the patch, updated graphics drivers, etc. what's the deal? Edit: evidently this happens in KOTOR2 as well
DarthParametric
You need to provide some system details. CPU, RAM, OS, video card.

Christos K
wow thats weird. Maybe should buy a Moniter that supports 1600x1200 not only would it be a nicer resolution for games it also an upgrade so you wont have to do so in the future. If you dont want to do that try reinstalling DirectX
omn3s
i'm quite fond of my 22' widescreen it's just an old game, so it doesn't support 1680x1050
DarthParametric
I would be willing to bet some quite sensitive body parts that your problem lies with the current generation of Catalyst drivers. Check out my thread on the problems I've experienced with both K1 and TSL on a Radeon HD4850 - http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=192491 Both games previously ran fine on that system with a Geforce 6800, and run on two other systems, one a laptop running an Geforce 7600 and the other an old P4 running an anaemic Radeon 9200 with Catalyst drivers that are several years old. ATI have done something in the current run of Catalyst drivers that the Odyssey engine really doesn't like.
