Hayden Kered
The time here is 5:51am, but the forums is showing an hour ahead. I have DST automatic detection set under my options but it has not adjusted the time. What's up with this?
Lynk Former
This is a common problem with forums around the net. Unfortunately, the easiest way to solve this is to set your DST settings manually.
Hayden Kered
So how would I do that?
Lynk Former
In the UserCP there's an Options page. Here's the link: http://www.lucasforums.com/profile.php?do=editoptions Find Date & Time Options and there's a "DST Correction Option:" bit. Click the drop-down and select "DST corrections always on" Of course, when DST ends, you'll have to edit the option again to turn it off.
Hayden Kered
OK, have done this and it still is not correcting!
Lynk Former
Is it showing you as an hour forward or an hour back from the current time listed on LF? Maybe try switching it to DST always off" if it's the other way around for you....
EnderWiggin
I just set my time zone back an hour. It's the wrong zone, but at least the time is right. That's how it's been every year for me, I think. _EW_
Stream
I had to change mine manually too and it was the same on vbulletin I own too so I think it's just something in code of vb. --Stream
tk102
The settings for DST are "automatically detected" only at the time that you choose that option it seems. From there on out, it keeps the setting that was detected. To fix this, set DST to always off or always on and click save, then go back and set DST to automatic detection. That should fix it. Hayden Kered
@TK: Tried that, didn't work! @EW: I took your advice, which is fine with me. Thanks for the help every one!
