Shinzo440
Hi everyone, First post! I just beat KOTOR1 and now starting KOTOR2. I bought both games a long time ago ( no returning them now..). I installed TSL, got the game up, created my custom character and then pressed the play button. I got to the intro for TSL and then a loading screen. After the loading screen the backround music began to play. But the screen went black. I left the game up for about 20 minutes figureing it would go away but it did not. I have tried this about 7 times now and the same thing happens. Any ideas what wrong with my? Any help would be appriciated, Thanks! P.S- it says my cpu is to slow but it said the same thing for KOTOR 1 and it worked fine, just a little slow. EDIT: I learned about the different settings and found by turning off shadows and grass effects I was able to start it. Please look my next post in here to see my new problem

Christos K
What computer do you have if its Vista and you GPU is NVidia try this it worked for me. 1. Go to NVIDIA Control Panel 2. Set the view to Advanced Settings. 3. Go to Manage 3D Settings. 4. Switch from Global Settings to Program Settings. 5. Go to KotOR and KotOR 2. 6. Go to the Conforment Texture Clamp 7. Switch it to OpenGL Specification. 8. Try playing. This worked for me and my game runs perfectly. Everynow and than I have issues caused by mods and when there is lots and lots of smoke effects it gets a bit crappy. I am running it on 800 X 600, High Texture, Soft Shadows, Grass, the Antastropic thing is on 8. Though Anit Analysing doesnt work nicely and I turn VSync on sometimes.
