deadlychiapet Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I haven't played XWA in years and I recently reinstalled it again but I'm having a problem with the joystick. It seems that the setting to invert the y-axis just will not work and no matter whether I turn it on or off the in-game behaviour stays the same. I'm using a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick on Win XP SP2. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Wildstar Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I'm not sure whether you mean a setting in Windows (Game Controllers applet in Control Panel) that inverts the Y-axis or the in-game option, but set both if you can, as one may override the other.
deadlychiapet Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 Hi Wildstar, I meant the ingame setting to invert the y-axis as there is no setting for that in the Game Controllers applet. However, I did get it to work today! I found the CD with the software meant for Windows 98 and surprisingly enough it worked on XP and it seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for helping!
