811720 'Flashbang' Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Hey, I was thinking the other day, what if Anakin hadn't turned to the Dark Side and ended the Clone War prematurely and it had been left to it's own accord... assuming the Republic won, what would happen to the Clones after the war? They wouldn't need to be kept, as the Republic has their Inner Core peacekeepers and every planet has its own police force, so one assumes they'd all get discharged...? Post all your ideas here! So I assume Order 66 would have been issued anyways and he would've found a new apprentice. However, saying that, the reason Palpatine chose Anakin is because he was twice as powerful as him before the situation on Mustafar. Though . . . IF he was aware that Anakin had children I'd be willing to bet he'd use them to turn Anakin to the darkside. My point Anakin WAS going to turn to the Darkside, Palpatine planned it out and made sure he would. So your point is kinda void. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
