epsoldier
Okay. So I just re-installed this game after a few months of not getting past the Endar Spire. Now it's not because I don't know how, it's because I physically can't. After Trask goes to fight with the sith, and I'm all by myself,I go through the door, game loads the new area. And as soon as I turn around the new corner, there's a sith there waiting to fight me. I fight him, kill him, and that's it. I can't walk or move anywhere after I killed him. Physically stuck. I reloaded my save, and just completely bypassed him, and went through the next door, thinking that it was some kinda bug with the enemy. Well after the next door, I went ahead and killed another enemy, and guess what...frozen in place again. I checked to see if the game was paused, and it wasn't. So I have no idea what's wrong with the game. Help, Please... PC Specs: CPU - 3.21GHz Ram - 4GBs Video - Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT P.S. I have already tried to remap my keys, and make sure there all still bound, and still work.
Q
What OS are you using?
DarthParametric
I encountered a similar thing in a recent playthrough on Taris and Dantooine where the PC will stop responding to movement commands (via either the mouse or keyboard). In those situations though I could get out of it by switching to a party member until entering the next module, at which point the PC would return to normal. You don't have too many options with no party. Is there a nearby crate, console, corpse, or door you can try clicking on? I seem to recall in my case that the PC would still move when doing that. If so, you might be able to leapfrog your way to the meeting point with Carth. I've never figured out the root cause of it. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing to be triggered by a hardware issue. Seems to be the same problem I have now. Well that's what I do when the guy I created stops moving. Thnaks for the info, and help...both of you.
