Xarwarz
I ran across this site that say they will release a tiny little console that will stream games from there servers. Now i know what your thing what of LAG/LATENCY issues. If your playing a sports game LAG would be unacceptable. But on a positive note this would just about kill game piracy as there would be no discs to copy. So would you grant this gaming future or keep it the way it is ----------------------- Positives ----------------------- End Piracy exception portable systems No Discs to scratch No heavy collection of games No 600-500-400-300 systems to buy from all who make them ------------------------------ Negatives ------------------------------ No need for a xbox, ps3 or wii console wars over Possible LAG Gamestop out of business Pond shops wont take your consoles anymore

Darth Avlectus
There was something similar to this in Yoda's Swamp up in the Jedi Knight area of the forums a little while back. Unless it is a large executive decision where Corporate America and government agree on something like this (and given the recent climate of socializing businesses I would say this has a fair possibility of happening, now), and against the wishes of the masses, it is doomed to failure. Also, since I am not allowed to link to any site with ROMs and emulators, I'll just have to suffice it to say that a website called "DEROK" allows you to play hacked rom games on stream. The major problem is the LAG. It has screwed up my ultra perfection at "MEGAMAN ultra". So for lag issues alone, I can see people being opposed to stream gaming. They want as little to no interference in their gaming. There is JUST_NO_WAY around the physics of this issue, either. Possible lag? Uhh, more like almost definite LAG. Also, yes, it would kill the gaming industry market. LAstly, we've all been hearing bitching about subscriptions to online MMORPGs, so take that and amplify it by a bazillion to cover all of gaming...there you have another complaint. Besides, don't corporate shark lawyers love lawsuits so that they can suck everyone dry? (Darth333, I am most certianly NOT talking about you here, hon.)
