Your game version is: 2.00.424 English Pinging: swpatch.obsidianent.com Retrieving autopatcher version information Connecting... swpatch.obsidianent.com Can not find patch file: /swkotor2/sw_pc_autopatch.txt Retrieving game patch information Connecting... swpatch.obsidianent.com Can not find patch file: /swkotor2/sw_pc_english.txt Get the manual patch. http://support.lucasarts.com/patches/Kotor2.htm The patch has been aborted Are sw_pc_autopatch.txt and sw_pc_english.txt supposed to be installed with the rest of the game? I ask because swkotor2 is the folder that the game is installed to.
Star Admiral Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I think I read somewhere that TSL doesn't autopatch easily. Just download and install the patch manually; it should work fine. And if you are running in Vista, be sure to run the patcher as an administrator. - Star Admiral
Q Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 That's definitely my advice as well. I've always assumed that the autopatcher was pretty much broken, because that's always happened to me.
Miltiades Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Since you probably already got the manual patch, this is just for future reference: the auto-patch function for KotOR2 doesn't work anymore. Obsidian stopped hosting the files, apparently.
