newbiemodder
I'm making an dark jedi npc for K2. I'd like him to wear the dark jedi robes the pc can wear, PMBI06.tga. Is that possible? What entries would I have to put on the associated line in the 2da appearance file for race, model, texture..etc.? thx Edit: Ok what I've done is I created my own model..renamed PMBIM.mdl and mdx to my own unique name. Took the tga file PMBI06 renamed that the same. put the new model name in under modela in appearance 2da and put the new texture in also. Ran the game...the model worked but the texture is not on there...it is white.
VarsityPuppet
If you want your npc to be able to wear jedi robes, just make sure that PMBI is in both the "Modell" and "texl" columns. As for all of the other entries, just copy an existing PC row into the row you want to change. He/she will be able to wear jedi robes now. If this is a party character, you'll just need to equip a that jedi robe, but if it's a module character, you'll have to edit some UTC files to make him appear as such. In response to your edit: Rename your skin PMBI06 to PMBI01 for the quick way (this will override the PMBI01 texture though, so unless you're doing it temporarily.. this doesn't fix it.) or for the good way... You'll need to do some uti editing to get it to do this, (kotor tool works great for this) but all you do is open a jedi robe uti with the GFF editor and look for an entry that says something like "TexVar" or "texturevariation" something like that. Just change it to 6 or 06. Sorry if my directions aren't very clear... I don't have any of the tools on hand so... it's a little hard to remember
