(for instance can the game be started on a planet without even having to see the opening sequence with trask at all?) (general questions) is it possible to edit the opening crawl text? when you do make a mod, are you basically just manipulating files that already come with the game, or is it possible to actually add more/new files to the game? On Dantooine is where you mod starts. You could also spawn some Dark Jedi who want your head on Korriban, and your mod would start on Korriban. If your making a bigger mod, you can start in another module that isn't the Endar Spire. (general questions) is it possible to edit the opening crawl text? I'm not sure if its possible to edit the existing title crawl, but you can always make your own, and have it replace the existing crawl. A quick google search should help you make your own Star Wars Title Crawl when you do make a mod are you basically just manipulating files that already come with the game, or is it possible to actually add more/new files to the game? You are using the games default file types (.tga and .uti are examples), but you can make new files using those types (you can make new items with new descriptions, or make a new texture), which you put into your override folder.
