I hold very fond memories of the original Operation Flashpoint, it's an awesome game and the only game I've played that captured the essence of personal fear on the battlefield. Open-world, crazy and doggone real. The sequel is looking great too, love the graphics and UI, really looking forward to this one.

This looks fan-freaking-tastic! I'm itching for more. Well, now I'm saving up for a amBX gaming lighting system. Deezamn. Too bad my 360 isn't recognizing the software updates for the OS or else I'd be playing more games on it. As it is I have X blades and Street Fighter 4 just lying around and can't play 'em.

I thought though that Codemasters had booted out the original devs. So this is Flashpoint in name only or so I've heard from internet protests. Havn't done too much following though. I know the other bunch recently put their spiritual successor out. ARMA 2 or something like that.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is going to be way better though. It is going to be released tomorrow! (October 6th)
