Mandalore's VO clips?

I have noticed that some of Mandalore's voice clips sound exactly like Canderous. For example, when I was talking to that republic spy on Onderon, he used a voice clip w/out that masking voice thingy.

 

Yeah, I know he is Canderous, but is it a bug that this happened? Or did they use some clips w/out voice masking?

He says "Yeah what'ya want in both games." He does frequently use clips.

Thats not what I ment. I meant voice clips, not dialog text.

Ooohh.. I've never noticed that. It can't be a bug, that's not how it would work. The only thing I can think of is that the developers forgot to add the effect.

There were originally plans for Mandalore to unmask himself in-game at some point, those dialog lines are likely for after that happened, but as with things that are cut we only get a taste of it in scattered surviving game files.

There is a Mandalore with mask off mod that allows you to dress him in other stuff besides his cloths! It is also stashed away somewhere on KOTOR tool!

yes, but we are talking about VO clips here, not models or skins. If there was a mod with unmasked Canderous and unmasked voice, that would interest me

Sorry, but all I know is you get one from talking to that Republic Guy in the Onderon Cantina. Its when you ask him about the Worst Doctor Ever (Aka, Dhagon Ghent). Don't know much more than that
