Isaac Clarke
Yes, I know I've been posting threads repetitively, but I'm new to modding, and I'm trying to make a mod. So how do you put a dlg file into a uti file? Do you just make both the files the same name and put them in your override folder? Or does it involve editing in the GFF editor? Edit: I have TSL.
harIII
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this but if you want an item to activate a dialog you have to make in theory a new Force Power. The script will be a start dialog script with the new dlg file and in the uti properties file, you'll have to make the item activate a spell whenever its used. At least if that's what you're talking about.
Isaac Clarke
That might be the explanation I'm looking for, I'll try it. But, say for example, hypothetically I have an armband and a dlg file with a script to fire off functions in the dlg file, and I want to make the armband use that dlg file in the game. Like the warp band for TSL.

Isaac Clarke
Thanks. Edit: I was actually thinking of incorporating the holowan cloakworks into the TSL warp band mod(for my personal use).
