How to load a savegame after re-installing the game

I'm a complete n00b and don't know nothing about something. I played KOTOR I (for the first time) till Korriban, I copied the saves folder and uninstalled the game. Now I installed it again and (on a new PC) and I thought by just copying the saves into the newly created folder my savegame would apear and I could load it and would be standing on Korriban.

 

Now, the only thing that got through was my character profile and my name and I'm on the Endar Spire in my pajama again...

 

What to do? Is there a way to get my old savegame loaded? I don't want to play through Taris and Dantooine all over again!

 

Please help! (And remember: me being n00b)

Each save has its own folder, so you have to copy the entire folder, and not just the contents, for each save into the "Save" folder for it to work.

In addition to the above post, be sure that if it is a modded save, have all the mods that save uses installed or the save will not work right.
