Multiplayer Issue

Hi my name is Darth_Katarn and i just joined and i was wanting to know if anyone could help me with an issue.

 

when I start up a multiplayer gae everything is fine but then I click join a game and it wont bring up any server names that I can join.It never has worked.I found out about that patch i think its called JediAcademy1.01.exe (i dont know) can someone please help me.I really want to join a server but it wont show any names if someone could help me then that would be great

Did you set it to search Internet and not local servers? Are you running a firewall?

i dont know anything about firewalls but i know that its searching the internet

You clicked Get New List?

 

If that doesn't work with it set to internet, you probably have a firewall interfering with the game. This will either be on your computer (like windows firewall) or a router that you connect to to get internet.

ok can you tell me how to get rid of the firewall

That depends on what version of Windows you are running.

 

try this ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-Windows-Firewall ) and if not that, look around microsoft's site a bit.

i can now get on servers but i cannot move it says connection interrupted

what kind of internet connection do you have? what are your pings? you can see them listed in the server list, you want to connect to one with a low ping (under 100ms). you can also see them ingame by pressing tab and looking at it on the line with your name.
