(Sorry for my bad english) Hello I have a few questions about kotor, I played it a few times but there are things I dont understand.

1)There are 3 skills Fortitude Reflex and Will what do they do and witch is best for witch class?

2)Two-weapon Fight do this feat applyes to two handed weapons like heavy weapon or blaster rifle?

3)Why Canderous uses heavy weapon, str, and heavy armour?

4)How can i install mods that won't ruin other mods?

1) Fortitude, Reflex and Will are modifiers that affect your saving throws against enemy attacks. A high Will score will make it harder for enemy force users to inflict force-based damage on you. Along with the Wisdom and Charisma scores, you'll be able to reduce force-damage and with a Will score high enough, you can resist certain powers as well.

A high reflex score makes your character harder to hit. He/she will be able to dodge blaster fire much better and parry lightsaber/melee attacks without taking much damage. Also, it determines how much damage you take from grenades and whether you succumb to the grenade's effects.

Fortitude affects feats like Critical Strike and powers like Stun/Stasis/Stasis Field, where the power/feat results in the opponent getting immobilised. A higher Fortitude score would help your character not to get stunned when Critical Struck, and along with a high will save, could also help you resist force based attacks.

I myself am no expert about these three things but I'm sure they're reasonably accurate. If anyone feels I've missed out anything please add on.

2) Two Weapon fighting applies primarily to Melee weapons. For heavy weapons and blaster rifles there are separate feats governing them (Weapon Focus/Proficiency/Specialisation)

3) Canderous is a soldier class, and by default will have heavy armor unlocked. I believe he also starts out with the Ordo's heavy blaster which is a unique item and his own heavy weapon.

4) Most of the mods available don't tend to interfere with each other unless they share a 2da file or a dialog.tlk file or they both change the same thing in the game. Nowadays that problem is solved by modders using the TSLPatcher to help players install the mods, so the compatibility is taken care of by that. However if you want to use older mods that also edit 2da files, I suggest you head down to Holowan Labs and get KotOR Tool and read up on how to use it to make edits yourself. Its as easy as editing Spreadsheets so don't worry that you won't know how to do it.

Hope that helps.

1) Saves are checks needed to be made against effects. You roll a d20, add your ref/will/fort number and it is compared against the opposing number. It is usually stated in the description which one is required to avoid being affected. Best to have are Will saves, a failed one can take you out of action. The other two are pretty useless.(used vs grenades, poison etc , who cares)

2) Its for 2(two) melee/ranged/lightsabers weapons only.(doublebladed LS is 2weps on 1 hilt heh)

3) Style vs Rules conflict. (rules are from a completely unrelated game). Terminator stats mean armored melee in this game.

4) to avoid conflicts only install mods which do not overwrite anything in the Override folder(other than vanilla files)

Heh I don't get the idea that Lucas arts made. For example mission has her mele weapon (mission's vibroblade) but uses blaster pistol, or zalbar has his blaster rifle but uses mele weapons, and canderous also has his heavy veapon but uses mele weapons.

Sorry for the dum question but Two-Weapon Fight won't add any bonus to blaster rifle and heavy veapon? :D

Just because a character's special weapon is a blaster/melee weapon, it doesn't mean he/she can use only that class of weapons. By default, all non-droids can equip any of the basic weapons, blasters and blades alike. To improve damage, however, you'll have to acquire the feats that grant your character improved ability with the weapon you want it to use. So if you give Canderous full weapon specialisation in melee weapons, he can use blades more effectively than blasters, but he will still be able to use blasters nevertheless.

And no, Two-Weapon fighting is exclusively for melee weapons only. Doesn't affect blasters.

Don't worry, on your 2nd or 3rd playthrough you won't worry much about all this and you'll get used to it. It was confusing for me at first too :D.

I'm not sure about the two weapon fighting, since HK-47 can have the two weapons fighting feat, and dueling, and he CAN'T have a melee weapon (unless you use the HK melee mod), also he don't have the melee weapon proficiency feats, etc, so if he the have two weapon fighting feat, that means the feat works with melee weapons, if it wasn't HK wouldn't have it.

Two weapons line of feats doesnt grant any bonuses, it reduces penalties, as soon as two(2) weapons are equipped. Pistols, lightsabers, swords, doubleblades etc. With only one weapon equipped these feats dont do a thing. rifle+twf=zero effect. The rule system comes from some medieval fantasy setting, no firearms there..

I myself am no expert about these three things but I'm sure they're reasonably accurate. If anyone feels I've missed out anything please add on.

Pretty much everything you said is off. ..

Two weapon fighting does NOT effect blaster rifles or heavy weapons, and neither does dueling. The only way to improve your skill with these two proficiencies is to pick up the focus and specialization feats in their lines. Or you could raise the characters DEX.
