Twin Suns Models??

Anybody out there that could help me find what the body and head model name is and where I can find-it with kotor tool? As of yet, I found the twi'lek male and female commoner (altough I can't see em, because I don't have the tools to do so yet...).

Well according to the appearance 2da..the body models are N_TwilekF for assassin 1 and N_TwiAssasin for 2. The corresponding head models are 184 and 185 which go with N_TwiAssH01 and N_TwiAssH02

 

Under the models.bif...go to Aurora model.....page down until you hit them.

Hum, I scrolled and found this:

You say that instead, it should be

N_TwilekF.mdl

N_TwilekF.mdx

 

and

 

N_TwiAssH02.mdl

N_TwiAssH02.mdx

??

It's both:

 

Assasisin 1 : body = N_TwilekF.mdl

N_TwilekF.mdx

 

head= N_TwiAssH01.mdl

N_TwiAssH01.mdx

 

 

Assiassin 2 : body = N_Twiassasin.mdl

N_Twiassasin.mdx

 

head= N_TwiAssH02.mdl

N_TwiAssH02.mdx

I'm not sure why they used the generic N_TwilekF model for the other Twin Sun. It's UV map doesn't match up with the 'Suns' textures. If you look at her from behind she has droopy drawers.

So if I took these model files: "N_Twiassasin.mdl" and "N_Twiassasin.mdx"

 

That I renamed them: "N_TwilekF.mdl" and "N_TwilekF.mdx"

 

and tossed 'em right in the override, Assassin 2 would still have the right model (not changed) and Assassin 1 would have the right model with an UV map that match the Assassin 1 texture. That about right?

Then you would change all the female twileks in the game...what you should do is open up appearance.2da with kotor tool and find lines 652 and 653, those are the twin's lines...manually change any reference to N_twilekf to the N_twiassasin model, then resave your appearance.2da to override. Then both twins will have the same body model and not affect the other normal twileks

Yeah, pretty good idea! Now any of you know if I can do a mod that use the TSL Patcher to make just this change and that would be compatible with both vanilla and another mod that change appearance.2da (say TSL RCM, for example...)?

Sure you can. just create a TSLPatcher, that does exactly that change in appearance.2da and nothin' else. Should be easyly doable even if you never worked with the Patcher before if you follow the extensive readme-file line-by-line.
