Revan vs. Malak bug, Please Help!

Hi, I've been playing through KoTOR for the first time and it's been smooth sailing up until this final fight with Malak. When the fight commences, I'm able to get him down to 1% health in a matter of 3 hits, but then no matter how much damage I do, he won't die, just keeps attacking me with a sliver of health. I know I shouldn't be able to take him down that quick. He doesn't drain the captured Jedi, and is all around really buggy (disengages if I run away, freeze frames occasionally). Also, the fight against Bastila seemed unusually easy as well (but I was at least able to progress in the game after I beat her, with Malak I'm just stuck 'cause he won't die).

 

I'm using the Widescreen mod, WoTOR, K1 Robe variations, and Power Overwhelming mods, but I've tried emptying my override folder and it doesn't help.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this, or even how to at least finish the fight even if it's a cheap work-around? I just want to complete the game and see the ending.

 

Any assistance is much appreciated, and my apologies if this has been answered before, couldn't find anyone with this same bug through searching.

Instead of hitting him with a lightsaber, since it apparently does massive damage, knock his health down to about 75% with Force Powers (you'll just have to prevent him from using his Immunity power)... he should then use the scene of draining the suspended Jedi, then you use Force Drain/Death Field or Destroy Droid on the remaining Jedi and then hit him with your lightsaber and you should be able to defeat him...

Simply emptying the override won't do anything without making an area transition or two. Try going back into the last module and then returning.
