Taunger Posted March 25, 2012 Share Posted March 25, 2012 Hi, I have one question: am I correct in assuming that the fog effect in KotOR (not TSL), is buggy/incomplete? I was playing around with the SunFogColor, SunFogFar, SunFogNear and SunFogOn entries in ARE files and it seems like the effect is only applied to some objects. Taunger Posted March 25, 2012 Author Share Posted March 25, 2012 Well, for example, in Davik's Estate only the doors seem to be affected, as seen here (without modding): http://image.bayimg.com/fanajaadj.jpg This is what the Shadowlands look like without modding: http://image.bayimg.com/ganadaadj.jpg And after changing the settings for module tar_m02ab, it looks like this: http://image.bayimg.com/ganaoaadj.jpg You can see the skybox is fogged black and some parts of the buildings (including doors). VarsityPuppet Posted March 25, 2012 Share Posted March 25, 2012 I'm trippin' balls right now :S lol The area fog seems to affect only meshes that don't have an envmap texture applied to them. EDIT: I just realised that this is something that only affects me , so it's more of a technical support problem (something to do with the fact that I'm running the Mac version).
