Special recruitment mod

I've seen many recruitment mods around here, but I haven't found one that, instead of replacing a member, fills the gap a member creates when he/she leaves.

If you recall, at the end of the game, Kreia betrays you and she leaves your party. Why not make a recruitment mod that makes a new party member join you and take Kreia's place right after she leaves?

Umm... with who? Be more specific with requests like this. Reason being is that it could be done, although I don't see much point.

Sorry for not being more specific. When I said "a new party member" earlier I actually meant "a new character" who would join you when Kreia leaves.

Also, I didn't say what kind of character I want intentionally. I meant this new character could be anything you guys like; a droid, an alien, a jedi... anything, as long as the character doesn't replace anyone but only fills Kreia's gap, would be great. But, if I really had to choose between a jedi, a sith, a droid or an alien, I'd go with the droid. I would love to have another HK in my party, to have him (her? I don't know if it's possible to make a female HK) help HK-47 in his raid on the HK factory on Telos. And Kreia's betrayal takes place just a bit before HK's attack in the factory. Anyway, 10 party members is better than 9, right? That's the reason I posted this.

Well, seeing as you go straight from Telos to Malachor, and you don't have a party on Malachor, and the only reason why I don't think that the whole droid joining the raid on the HK Factory is that if it's another HK droid, self-preservation programming would kick in. I honestly don't see the point in filling in the gap Kreia leaves if it only lasts that long.

You know, the self-preservation programming problem can be bypassed with some imagination.

Say... "A special HK unit has been sent to find and terminate the Exile. However, since the HK-50s had some unexpected encounters with HK-47, this special unit does not possess any self-preservation programming, meaning he can attack other HK units, specifically HK-47.

The special unit finds HK-47, but the predecessor unit manages to persuade the special unit to help him. So, the special unit and HK-47 join forces and attack the factory together."

Don't make me write more about it saying it's not possible to persuade an HK into doing something else, or I'll find a way around it too...

I just hate seeing an empty slot whenever I see my party table at the end of the game.

Or you could... yanno. Have the HK-50 unit fight HK-47 solo, then when it gets "shut down" HK could reprogram it. Have it like an optional "boss" fight.

Just a thought.

Yes, that's a very good idea!

Although I don't think that the special HK would look (or even be) an HK-50 or an HK-51.

It could be a new HK design, a prototype, stronger and faster than the HK-50 model. And you could use a new skin for it too. There are tons of great HK skins out there...

Hmm, but why would it be a new one if they still haven't figured out the hk 51 problems? maybe the one he interogated before figuring out the location of the base?

Um...

Let's say it's an upgraded unit, with advanced combat skills, but with the same behaviour core the HK-50s have.

As for the second part...

NO! Let 47 have some fun! He begs you to let him kill something in the game and you just don't let him do so! At least let him torture this one!

Well technically, he couldn't have killed that one some one else would have had to since at that point he had his self preservation intact, although i love the the idea of an earlier prototype of an hk-51
