supreme kotor
I did a quick search and couldent find a thread that awnsered my exact question so I'm sorry if it already exists. Part of the reason I'm so interested in this is everyone will have diffrent biased awnsers based on not only Revan but also thier personal views. So the question is: Revans fate? Not wether or not he dies, lives, etc... I'm wondering more from a this kind of view; Malak says: "Savior, conqueror, hero, villain. You are all things Revan and yet you are nothing. In the end you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone." Now what I'm wondering is why do you think Revan belongs to neither light or dark? Do you think Revan's fate was sealed from birth? Or maybe if Revan wouldent have turned evil, do you still think Revan belonged to neither side even before then? What about after KotOR do you think Revan can ever belong to either side? Thanks-SupremeKotor

He wouldn't have fought the mandalorians. Too many things were in motion. Whether things would have turned out similarly or dis-similarly we could speculate all day, but I don't care to by this point, really. In any event we'd likely go by predestination which implies little in the EU truly matters in the SW universe, only the original films. Revan saw the ultimate limitations of both sides after his reunification with his mask. Arguably you could say this when he made his decision on Lehon (then Rakata) facing a fallen Bastila but he still couldn't recall everything at that point. In Path of Destruction, Revan's holocron and its making (which Bane found on Lehon some 3000 years later), pretty much was pinpointed to the time between when he left for a destination beyond the outer rim, and when he invaded the Republic. Obviously after he fell to the dark side. The holocron emphasized absolute darkness, no moderation whatsoever. In the beginning Revan was an eager lightsider. At the end Revan used the power of both, alternating, to achieve his ultimate power. Whether this is actually moderate or just chaotic neutral, that subject is up for debate. He is a grey jedi regardless.
