Kainzorus Prime
Author: Kainzorus Prime Mod Name: NPC Overhaul Mod Download the KotOR version at Deadly Stream. Download the TSL version at Deadly Stream. ************************* Under NO circumstances is this, or any of my other, mod(s) to be posted on ANY site other than by myself. ************************* 1. Info =========== This mod attempts to rectify the clone effect as much as possible by differentiating the characters where applicable, reassigning the sound sets and giving the characters different equipment to fit better with the story. 2. Installation: ========= For KotOR, simply run the patcher. If you also use the Sunry Murder Recording Enhancement mod, copy the .mod file from the compatibility folder and overwrite the one in the game's "modules" folder. For TSL, run the patcher for each listed location. I apologize for the need to run it several times, but it’s the only viable way to ensure TSLRCM compatibility. 3. Compatibility: ========= The patcher ensures compatibility with most other mods for KotOR version, except those which also use .mod files that alter the same areas as this mod. A compatibility patch for Sunry Murder Recording Enhancement mod is included. The TSL version was built with TSLRCM installed, and is set up to ensure compatibility. 4. Phildevil
This is amazing! I'll give-it a try when my current Mass Effect buzz is over! Edit: I see there is an edit of Lonna Vash. Do you think that might cause incompatibilities with M4-78EP mod? Edit 2: Is this also for K1???
Kainzorus Prime
It might cause incompatibilities with M4-78, I didn't have it installed when the mod was being built. It is compatible with TSLRCM though. K1 version will be around sometime later this month.
Phildevil
Is-it too late to ask for a patch?
Kainzorus Prime
Well, if you can tell me whether the UTC for Vash on Korriban in M4-78 differs from Vanilla/TSLRCM, I can answer you about a patch. Personally, I don't have it installed. Last time I tried to un-install it, it wiped the Korriban Academy module and I had to reinstall the game. Hassat Hunter
Yes, it's different... EDIT: Also, the Korriban Academy would have been in the 'backup' folder, you could simply place it back instead of re-installing 0_o
Phildevil
So basically, if I want to play both of these mods without a patch, I just take back Vash's back-up utc and toss-it back into override?
Kainzorus Prime
Yes. I suppose that would work out. Also, I usually delete the backups right after installation. It's silly that the uninstaller wipes the module completely from its folder.
Hassat Hunter
I haven't actually run the installer (not taint my 1.8.3/M4-78EP patch run, ya know), but if it installs it directly into the .mod files, yeah, you need to have a backup extracted before that. If in the override, simply remove it there. Vash doesn't actually appear with M4-78EP, but better safe than sorry. Well, what else is it supposed to do? The module as is will not have Vash, getting you stuck ingame if it's being kept around. Pretty sure the uninstaller can't re-transfer a backup to modules, and manually hauling it over isn't that hard a task. It's the same for 401DXN (and 702KOR) with TSLRCM. Kainzorus Prime
It could pop up a message after uninstaller saying 'remember to transfer the module from backup back to the modules folder.'
Hassat Hunter
I'll ask Zbyl if that's possible to add...

djh269
Hello again, I've noticed in the pictures for the first Kotor mod that there is a reskin of the Sith Apprentice texture (maybe models as well), but I couldn't see them in your files. Can somebody tell me if that was just my download or is it the same as everyone? Many thanks, DJH269
