Scout, scoundrel and soldier clothes

Hi , I wonder if it would be possible to create a mod that allows use the three default clothes for all classes as if they were different armor. I usually use the KSE to gen a close effect, but a mod that eliminated the restrictions and give the three clothes would be awesome.

Well, I guess no one has had time and make it should be a little difficult , but as I'm concerned I think I'll try to take it forward. Although I'm not very good at modding, so I ask some idea to carry it out. For now I just though to import the three classes models into 3ds max and use them to replace any other cloth file, adjusting to their bones. Then rename the files and edit the game to appear on somewhere. If anyone thinks that there is another better way, please, I'm reading all the tutorials that i find but any help is welcome and needed.

As far as I am aware, you cannot do this without replacing an existing armor-set.

To do that though, you would literally just rename the extracted .mdl and .mdx files to whatever the armor-class's model files are called.

You should not need to open anything in max at all.

But, again, that would replace an armor-class, so unless you plan to retexture the clothing to fit every skin in that class this is not feasible.

There may be another way but I never got a chance to try it. That would be something to do with model variant of clothing uti's. You may be able to use that for this task. That's the extent of the research I have on that though. Little more than a theory

Canderis, I think dissecting the .utis and model names of my mod could easily give you the answer, and the OP.
