Hello Everyone,

 

I don't know if this has been asked before or what, but I'm just gonna throw it on here. In terms of modding,

is there a way that the music for the main menu can be modified to a different song? I have been working on

a project for quite some time but every time I have have to reload the game and test something out, the same

boring music comes up every time. Well anyways, that's all I want to know right now.

Yes, I did-it a while ago. Pretty sure I just switched with a regular mp3

Rename the music you want to hear to mus_main.mp3 or .wav and replace the original mus_main.wav in the streammusic folder. That should do it.

Mus_main is not the main screen though; It's character generation - 950COR

No, it didn't work, and I tried 950cor and mus_main as you guys suggested.

I just got home from work and finding the music track for the main menu was easier than expected! It's common title is "Sion’s Theme" and the track file name is "mus_sion" - I hope that helps.

The file name is actually only "mus_sion".

The "New_" is something that get's added while using the most popular instructions for converting the game music to a soundtrack CD

Years ago, I switched that song to Peter McConnel's Star Wars: Force Commander - 1 - Opening song. Love that song.

That was the only thing Force Commander did well - The music.

Such a nice soundtrack.

Yeah, the game got boring pretty quick. Too bad, I'm sure the story was not too bad, but I was not able to get past the kriffing AI.
