Today’s Monkey Island Heardle is a favourite of mine. It’s responsible for the bigger part of all the fond memories I have about that game.

which is funny, as

there aren’t any puzzles on this screen. Might be the combination with iMuse allowing it to bleed into other scenes or kicking in as you move out of town.

What an atmosphere!

And one of the pieces that’s even better in the SE rendition because of real instruments. For some reason though, it’s missing the end. Not sure if it is cut in the game too…

I used to play this game, but a few months ago it stopped working, so I decided to create my own version, which is now live on The Legend of Monkey Island website. It's still a Heardle clone with all the features you would expect, but I've made some small improvements. It includes music from Return to Monkey Island, which I think is a worthy addition, and the names should be easier to find (I hope). Also, there won't be issues with some music randomly not showing up in the search results, which I found quite frustrating.

 

Today is an easy one so I'll go first:

It’s included for MI1 SE. For MI2 SE it’s merged with the diving music and that is why it’s not showing up. I used the tracks I had on my Downloads section as I couldn’t bother to split them and reupload.

I got yesterday's, but I forgot to post about it here. Of course I got it in -1 guesses, too bad there's no proof of that so you'll just have to believe me :p (I think I got it in three)

I first thought it was from Escape, but on the second guess I recognised Blood Island. There's just so many choices even then though, and all of them pretty.

Thanks, I’ll have a look at what’s going on! Do you remember how many tries it took you when you got “-1”?

 

Edit: Couldn’t find any obvious issue. Maybe you were joking? If not, let me know your browser version. Maybe it’s browser browser-specific bug. Another way top help me find the issue is checking the statistics (top right corner icon).
