Any guesses on what's next from Double Fine?

I just finished a rewatch of Psychodyssey and it made me all the more eager for whatever Double Fine does next.

As far as I know, nobody really knows what they're working on.

Any guesses on what they might be working on?

I'd love a Psychonauts remaster -- to the same quality of Psychonauts 2, but I bet they have something more interesting up their sleeves. I guess it will be XBox exclusive though...

You are in luck, because Microsoft transitioned this year into multiplatform and gave up on their hardware.

 

Their games might still need Xbox accounts though 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, a Psychonauts remaster would be geat. I loved all the LucasArts remasters they did.

But in my heart what I truly hope for is something totally new. A new Point-and-Click game if I let myself really dream big.

They've got to have something close to ready for release this year, right? Didn't they have one or two other games in production towards the end of Psychonauts 2's development?

I don't think that's ever going to be on the cards again. Broken Age was a rare moment. And besides I'm sure they have other amazing things up their sleeves. Psychonauts 2 was fantastic.
