Guest Lord Tirion
Holocron was nothing more than a crystal that stored all ancient information about the Jedi/Sith. Basically you galactic computer disc =P

Guest Tie Guy
Its really more than just a datacard type of storage device. It was more similar to a droid brain. You could interact with the "gatekeeper" and the master who created the Holocron. You could ask them questions and they would find the answer if it was in their database. Thus, they were much more usefull than just a simple storage device like a datacard.

Guest ICP Ringmaster
well most Siths get taught by the Sith before them...and i have NO clue who was before him
Guest Darth G
From wat u know, the current Sith order was set up by Darth Bane. Before him, there was an empire of the Sith and due to the nature of themselves, they were scheming and destroying one another... It was Bane that has the far sight to conclude that it was only safe to have 2 sith at any one time... one master, one apperentice. That way, there wouldn't be any infighting
JEDI_MASTA
oh so i get it now (here comes tirions argument) thats why maul didnt take on the rank of master because its a sith rule
