Ever since Rebellion at least. Before Rebellion it could easily be taken both ways.

Fine then -----

So, they actually can "bomb" a planet. Although when you say "orbital bombardment" it is generally understood that it means with turbolasers.

------That is what I am talking about Kvan

He's saying that "orbital bombardment" could be taken either way before Rebellion, but i disagree. It is in the movies, when they are attacking hoth the officer says there is a shield protecting the planet that can withstand any bombardment. Also, it is in the books, and i knew what it was well before rebellion.

It CAN be taken either way! Orbital Bombardment! Meaning a bombardment from orbit. A bombardment can be anything, missiles, laser, projectile....etc.

CAN yes, but is NO. Like that dissagreement we had earlier(and are still having) Most of us Assumed TURBOLASER immidiatly.

Ummm, well no, I didn't.

But trying really hard to get back on topic, maybe the Naboo instead of having an Orbital Bomb. weapon could have like a Tractor Beam weapon, that maybe steals stuff...it's just a thought...

Maybe the naboo could have a swarm of fighters and bomber that drop a ton of bombs on the target area but you don't have to make them and they can't die.

It's a superweapon, you wouldn't have to have a hanger to house them. Actually, that's a good idea. The prequisite could be a hanger, and a com tower for the others and a capapult for the gungans. Good idea :D

It would be just as powerful as the other superweapons, and it would be worth it.

This game is more perfectly balanced than RA2, and RA2's supreweapons were just as powerful as each other, well the nuke and the storm were at least.

the problem with making superweapons "perfectly balanced" is that in a game with naboo and the gungans as one of the main races... and then the rebels and imps it can't be more UN-perfectly balanced.

naboo is like a peaceful place... the queens ship wasnt even armed. the gungans are a buncha walking talking frogs...

and then the rebels and imps are big superpowers noones gonna be able to stop them...

so they should jus make superweapons unbalanced. who cares... cuz noones gonna play with naboo anyways.

:yoda: vs. :vadar:

who would win?

The Naboo had weaponry; they just didn't deploy it that much or used it on a DIPLOMATIC vessel (that's why it was unarmed).

I've seem some artwork of a Naboo ship that looks like a B2 Stealth bomber... now image that coming out of nowhere and strafing your base... surely that should be a superweapon ?!?
