Wow, after reading all the prev. posts it looks like I'm one of a very small number of supporters ;)

I got the game a few weeks ago when it first came out in Las Vegas... after playing with everyone I stopped on Naboo because they're the only faction I've been able to consistently win with on any difficulty level past easy (Wookiees too, about sixty percent of the time).

I agree that the Trade Federation is better than the Naboo. After all they beaten the Naboo in the movie:p oh before somebody get technical and says the naboo won at the end it was the New Republic Interfernces that helped the Naboo to win. So there you can counter argue me hehehe:D

AS I saif before, the Naboo are a civ with very sophisticated units that need to be controlled almost all the time ...

Therefore I wouldn't start with them (altough I did:D , simply had to ..)

If you like the Naboo got and make suggestions about the "Official Unofficial Naboo Campaign" in the scenario ed forums ..

I'm afraid the naboo are lacking a bit, in t4 at least. All other civs can easily compete in t4, but not naboo. They lack repeater, and good mechs. And you can rely on jedi or bounties(the crusader is overrated). I used to think the tf sucked too and should be patched. I've realized that while their carbon disadvantage could be lowered, the tf can compete. However in the case of the naboo, if you don't kill em off early, then you better have the advantage or be alot better than them casue the naboo pale in comparison to other t4 civs(which is all the rest)

Since WW II, it has been tried-and-true military strategy that if you want to win a war, you need air superiority. I have played each of the civs at least once now, and most several times. I do the best, far and away, with the Alliance or Naboo -- i.e. when I have good air power. The shielding upgrade for air units makes them quite powerful, and they can take out most ground units without difficulty. Admittedly I play only against the computer, which perhaps doesn't protect itself vs. air attacks quite as well as it should. But the times I have played civs with poor air power, I have generally had a very hard time of it against those that *do* have good air power.

I for one, prefer Naboo or the Rebels, because of their air strength.

May the Force be with you.

*armed crossed and looks stubborn and says* NABOO SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing good about them and their "fighters" is a doll compared to a Rebel Alliance Fighter. That how bad the Naboo is. Also their crusader...well one of my jedi took out five of them. Hpmh!;)
